I believe we build barriers as an attempt to protect ourselves from childhood and adult relational traumas however, these mind and body defenses are no longer necessary and block us from what we truly want in life; inadvertently causing more suffering than protection. The symptoms of these barriers manifest as depression, anxiety, addiction ,,, as well as physical illness.
I love learning and have extensive education, training and experience: Licensed Psychotherapist since 2004, Certified Bioenergetic Therapist - CBT, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner - SEP and Certified in Art Therapy.
I have been blessed with highly skilled and caring therapists who have helped me on my journey of recovery; healing from past trauma. Now, my passion is in assisting others to build trust, hope and coping skills so they may let go of their physical and mental defenses which, no longer serve them and open up to their true nature and potential.
