Our mission at Polaris Teen Center is to assist adolescents ages 13 to 17 in the initial phase of addressing and treating a mental disorder that has significantly impaired everyday functioning and has resulted in destructive consequences. During this transitional period, we empower clients and their families to transform their lives by replacing hopelessness, despair and self-destructive behaviors with renewed optimism, confidence and a plan for the future.

Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services treats teen boys and girls ages 12 – 17 experiencing substance use and mental health conditions. Our campuses are beautiful, home-like settings in Sonoma County, Clovis and Riverside, California, where clients enjoy camaraderie, benefit from intensive integrated therapy, and enjoy recreation and experiential therapy activities. Boys and girls are treated and housed separately to eliminate drama and distraction. This program provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for teens experiencing a range of behavioral healthcare issues, including substance use disorders, anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, and suicidality. Programming is trauma-informed to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where teens can feel open and comfortable engaging in treatment and focusing on their care without distractions. Muir Wood is also in-network with Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, Halcyon, Kaiser Permanente, Magellan, MHN, and Optum.

Welcome to California Family Counseling - CalFam - a community mental health center in Chatsworth, California and throughout California via telehealth. We offer Couples Counseling and Family Therapy AT NO CHARGE, and Individual Therapy on a sliding scale, based on ability to pay. For 50 years, CalFam has been providing a safe, compassionate and confidential place for people from all walks of life to find the help they need. Services are provided by pre-licensed therapists supervised by fully licensed therapists. Openings are available for children (6+), adolescents, and adults through telehealth for all California residents. The counseling center offices are due to reopen in January 2022.

Valley Recovery Center provides residential treatment services for adult men suffering from substance abuse and co-occurring conditions. Our treatment team providers will evaluate the client’s medical health, mental health and substance use history in order to design an individualized treatment plan tailored to meet the varying needs of the client and his or her family. Clients reside in a non-institutional, home-like setting with private individual bedrooms that provide a safe and secure healing environment. Providing gender-specific treatment in a smaller group setting helps clients remain focused on the recovery process and strengthen trusting relationships. We have several homes located in the northern Los Angeles area and are licensed by the state of California and certified by The Joint Commission.

Designed for individuals with psychological issues, our West Los Angeles program is for those who are struggling to navigate daily life and would benefit from a comprehensive program including daily individual psychotherapy and multiple psychotherapy groups, including the support of other clients experiencing similar challenges. It caters to those who need more comprehensive psychological support than traditional therapy can provide. We also help clients who self-medicate and are experiencing issues of dependency and substance use concerns.

The ADHD Center for Success is committed to providing children, adolescents and adults the most current and effective evaluation and treatment programs, with detailed information to help patients achieve their goals in all aspects of life. We offer highly specialized, affordable evaluations for Adults who have struggled with attention and focus since childhood. Most have often wondered if they had ADHD but have never been formally assessed or diagnosed. BNI Treatment Centers offers inpatient and residential substance abuse and mental health treatment programs that are physician owned and operated. When our emotional life is out of balance or unregulated we often find ourselves repeating patterns that become self-defeating. These self-defeating patterns can leave us feeling anxious, unsatisfied, or depressed, and often lead to low self-esteem. We may feel shame, the feeling that something is deeply wrong with me or that I am defective, different, or not good enough. When these emotions are untreated we may isolate or seek relationships hoping they will make us better. We have found that generally when a person experiences different types of trauma, distress and dysregulation caused by trauma can lead to other manifestations of the pain including addiction, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and attachment difficulties. We may compulsively eat, use drugs or alcohol, spend, or over work. Balance IOP provides treatment, support and education to those struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, oppositional defiance, psychosis, and substance abuse issues including dual diagnosis. Those who enter our program will be welcomed into a supportive and structured group environment, consisting of people struggling with similar challenges, where they will be made to feel comfortable expressing their struggles and concerns.
