As such, at Paradigm we do not use point systems, phase systems or other outdated behavior modification or punitive techniques. For over 10 years, Paradigm Treatment has been providing residential treatment for teens and young adults with mental health issues. Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services treats teen boys and girls ages 12 – 17 experiencing substance use and mental health conditions. Our campuses are beautiful, home-like settings in Sonoma County, Clovis and Riverside, California, where clients enjoy camaraderie, benefit from intensive integrated therapy, and enjoy recreation and experiential therapy activities. Boys and girls are treated and housed separately to eliminate drama and distraction. This program provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for teens experiencing a range of behavioral healthcare issues, including substance use disorders, anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, and suicidality. Programming is trauma-informed to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where teens can feel open and comfortable engaging in treatment and focusing on their care without distractions. Muir Wood is also in-network with Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, Halcyon, Kaiser Permanente, Magellan, MHN, and Optum.

Our skilled clinicians utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to treat issues related to substance abuse and co-occurring mental disorders. Each member of our team was hand picked in order to create a warm and supportive environment for your teen and family. All adolescents receive bi-weekly individual therapy sessions in addition to extensive family therapy. Supplemental daily group therapy sessions promote further growth for your teen within his or her peer group.

Our mission at Polaris Teen Center is to assist adolescents ages 13 to 17 in the initial phase of addressing and treating a mental disorder that has significantly impaired everyday functioning and has resulted in destructive consequences. During this transitional period, we empower clients and their families to transform their lives by replacing hopelessness, despair and self-destructive behaviors with renewed optimism, confidence and a plan for the future.

Changing Tides is equipped to treat both substance use disorders and mental health disorders simultaneously while providing clients with the tools needed to begin a life in recovery. With a staff of educated professionals trained to treat co-occurring disorders, clients can expect to receive an individualized treatment program for their unique needs. Changing Tides specialized treatment programs range from the cutting edge adventure therapies to the more traditional trauma and group therapies. Upon Arrival client's treatment programs are developed by a Master's level therapist and will be reviewed weekly by the full clinical team to document progress. In addition, we provide art, fitness, mindfulness, music, UCLA's "PEERS" social skills program, and other therapies to provide a holistic approach to care. We offer full-day (Partial Hospitalization) and after-school (Intensive Outpatient) services for teens experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, school avoidance, ADHD, trauma, gender identity issues, and more.
