It is a comprehensive treatment approach that includes diagnostic, psychiatric and psychosocial services. It is designed to offer a level of care and resources not provided in a traditional outpatient or inpatient setting. IOP is best for the stabilization of individuals with recurring psychiatric symptoms. The medical director, outpatient therapist and patient work together to identify therapeutic goals and formulate treatment plans. IOP program hours are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. and programming and scheduling are based on individual needs. Situated in a relaxing and calm setting, the IOP provides intensive treatment among a healing community of peers.
