Spravato is the first new drug approved for depression by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) in decades. Spravato is specially designed for those suffering from Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD). Spravato (esketamine) is indicated in combination with an oral antidepressant for adults suffering from treatment-resistant depression. Opal: Food + Body Wisdom is a locally owned eating disorder treatment center in the heart of Seattle's University District. We provide Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient services for people of all genders 18+ with eating disorders and disordered eating. Opal offers mental health counseling, nutrition counseling, family therapy and psychiatric services at all levels of care. We now provide non-clinical, free lodging for our PHP and IOP clients. At Opal clients receive holistic, relational based care that is responsive to research and grounded in a Health at Every Size approach. We are in-network with most major insurance companies.

Kelso Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Kelso, Washington, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid addictions. Many people may desire to be free of opioid use, but painful withdrawal symptoms and powerful cravings make it difficult to maintain long-term recovery. MAT is an evidence-based approach to treating opioid use disorder that involves combining therapy with prescription medications to treat the physical and emotional symptoms of addiction. This comprehensive method of opioid addiction treatment has been shown to help people remain in recovery and live more fulfilling lives. Some methadone clinics only offer one kind of medication, but our CTC offers Suboxone and buprenorphine in addition to methadone. The medications used in MAT can significantly reduce the risk for relapse and can help people avoid the negative consequences of opioid use. Therapy is a critical component of MAT and is essential for lasting recovery. Individual and group therapy sessions can help someone identify why they turned to opioids in the first place and learn coping skills to prevent future relapse.

Only 2/3 of patients with depression experience substantial relief of their symptoms with medications and therapy, and most of those individuals recover in their first 2 antidepressant trials (source: STAR*D study)! For the other 1/3 - nearly 6 million Americans - TMS, esketamine, ECT, and other treatments offer hope. Between these three treatments, nearly 90% of our patients improve.
