For decades Spruce Mountain Inn has understood the importance of group work and a structured schedule for our residents. This is why we have a longstanding requirement that residents be willing to commit to a minimum of 30 hours of scheduled programming. The 30 hours of programming center on these six key areas: group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, school/work, healthy living, and independent living skills. Spruce Mountain Inn strictly adheres to therapy modalities that are evidence-based and that are proven to be best practices—meaning there are years of research showing these modalities to be effective. Our small campus gives us the advantage of fostering community and getting to know the needs of each of our residents. Because therapists carry small caseloads, they get to know residents as individuals, becoming familiar with their worries and fears, strengths and potential. Therapists are able to observe residents in their day-to-day living and take advantage of key moments to engage them therapeutically. At Spruce Mountain Inn, we know that therapeutic rapport is a key component in creating lasting change.

Otter Creek Associates is a regional interdisciplinary outpatient practice with offices in Burlington, South Burlington, Essex Junction and Shelburne, Vermont. Our affiliated clinicians provide a full range of clinical assessment and treatment services for children, adults and families. We also provide consultation and interim coverage for area schools, outpatient programs, residential treatment facilities, hospitals and community-based agencies.

Soteria House is open to all Vermonters 18 and older and serves people going through an early episode of an extreme state, sometimes called psychosis. At Soteria, we believe that challenging experiences can be met and understood with creativity, courage, and community.

Spring Lake Ranch is a long term residential program (6 mos.+) for adults who struggle with mental health and often, co-occurring addiction issues. We are not a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. Applicants with substance use issues must have at least 30 days clean and sober to be admitted and must be able to agree to stay clean and sober throughout our program. The Ranch is a private-pay facility, which does not accept insurance. There is some financial assistance available based on need.

Brattleboro Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Brattleboro, Vermont, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. MAT is an evidence-based method of treating opioid addiction that combines counseling services with the use of prescription medications. The customized treatment plans we provide for our patients address both the physical and emotional aspects of opioid addiction. The prescription medications used in MAT, such as methadone, Suboxone, and buprenorphine, work to relieve withdrawal symptoms, while individual and group counseling sessions with our trained counselors can facilitate meaningful conversations and self-examination. We believe that connecting with other adults who are experiencing similar struggles is important for encouragement, support, and motivation to maintain recovery. While the medications used in MAT can help with withdrawal symptoms and opioid cravings, they do not address the mental health aspects of addiction, which can include identifying any underlying causes of opioid addiction. Our team will work closely with you to develop a thorough treatment plan that meets your specific needs.

River Rock Treatment is a clinically driven outpatient substance use and mental health treatment center located in Burlington, Vermont. We provide a supportive, safe, and healing environment for men and women (18+) seeking a lasting and meaningful recovery. At River Rock Treatment we have multiple levels of care: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Outpatient Program (OP). We are committed to providing a treatment experience in which each participant is helped to stabilize and given the practical tools and skills to overcome substance addiction and mental health disorders; while remaining in their day to day environments. We believe each participant can recover and their well-being is an integral part in that process. Sana at Stowe serves clients 18 years of age or older with a primary substance use disorder. Sana takes pride in serving patients with a dual diagnosis of substance use and a mental health condition. Patients must be medically and psychologically appropriate for Sana’s level of care. Our admission team is available 24/7 to discuss if Sana is the right fit for you. Regardless of your admission to Sana our admission staff is committed to connecting you with the correct services and is well equipped to assist you in perusing other substance use services in the area. Considering the pandemic Sana patients should be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 (proof of vaccination is required prior to arrival).

Susan Long is a Master prepared licensed therapist as well as a board certified Psychiatric Nurse practitioner. She is the owner of The Rested Mind and founded it in 2010 to serve the South Shore Massachusetts area. We have a relationship with the Archdiocese of Boston and provides services to abuse survivors. We are also honored to see active duty military and veterans ( Tricare Accepted) as well as Police, Fire and First responders. The practice was originally started for children but we expanded our services and now sees patients up to age 65 ( no medicare/medicaid). We have about 14 providers and can address a wide variety of issues. You DO NOT need change your therapist to get medication services from us as we believe comfort with a provider is important. We are open 9am in the morning until 10pm at night Mon-Thursday, Friday 10am to 4pm and Sundays 10am to 6pm to accommodate those who cannot leave work during normal business hours. We are closed Saturdays.

At Iris Healing Retreat, our clinical & medical team work closely together to create an individualized treatment plan designed to treat the whole person - Mind, Body, and Spirit. We address our clients addiction problem on a deeper level by simultaneously healing underlying mental health issue(s) or past trauma's. Iris Healing Retreat is well known for specializing in caring for clients considered to be 'dual-diagnosis'. We employ Doctorate-level clinicans and Reputable Psychiatrists to address the mental health component, and utilize the latest in available technology to heal any underlying traumas that our clients may have. In fact, Iris utilizes Brainspotting, the latest and greatest technology available for the treatment of trauma. Additionally, each client has accesss to 3x weekly neuro-feedback sessions , between one and two private, face-to-face individual sessions per week, and family therapy sessions, which can be done via video-conference if family is not local. Our clients also participate in daily psycho-educational group sessions that focus on a variety of topics, such as Relapse Prevention, Emotional Process Groups, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and much more.

Continuum Recovery Services (CRS) at Continuum of Care consists of 4 levels of residential treatment and care for adults ages 18 and up who are challenged with mental health and potentially co-occurring disorders. Clients can access treatment to any of these levels of care and move to a higher or a lower level of care as their needs change. Continuum offers short-term and long-term residential treatment in an intimate personalized setting. Clients live in a home-like setting that provides low stimulation compared to traditional institutional settings. Continuum believes each path to mental health recovery is a unique and extraordinary journey. We are an inclusive community, dedicated to working with those searching for their path to recovery. We provide a safe, nurturing home environment designed to assist you in regaining connections, meaning, and hope, and a new life of recovery. At West Lebanon Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we treat adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid addictions. Our CTC offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), a specialized form of care that can support someone as they work to end opioid use and maintain lasting recovery. In MAT, patients receive prescription medication and counseling, a holistic combination that can address their physical and emotional needs at the same time. The medications offered in MAT work by relieving the distressing symptoms and intense cravings that may accompany opioid withdrawal, thereby helping patients resist relapse and remain in recovery. When you receive medication through a MAT program, you might also be able to function better in your daily life and engage more productively in therapy, which can be a key part of your recovery journey. At West Lebanon CTC, we offer individual and group therapies for patients.
