Archstone Counseling & Treatment is a collection of therapists who share a similar vision of being trauma-focused and committed to providing quality groups and individual sessions to help clients with trauma, addictions and complex situations. Our main program is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorders. We offer EMDR, a specialized form of trauma therapy and neurofeedback (LENS) which we extend to our IOP clients at no extra charge to the client. Our IOP meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have an afternoon group that meets from 12 to 3 pm and an evening group that meets from 6 to 9 pm.

Roanoke Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. An evidence-based approach to opioid addiction treatment, MAT combines prescription medication and counseling to help patients withdraw from opioids and sustain long-term recovery. The medications used in MAT can help relieve the distressing symptoms associated with opioid withdrawal. At the same time, the counseling component of MAT may help patients make lifestyle changes that can support lasting recovery. While many people are aware that methadone clinics offer medication to ease the withdrawal process, some might be less familiar with the full scope of personalized services a MAT program can provide. In addition to offering four medication options — methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone — our CTC provides individual and group therapies for patients. In therapy sessions, you can safely explore the ways addiction may have impacted your life as well as learn about the recovery process, build new coping skills, and connect with others who are receiving MAT.

Bridging the Gaps (BTG), an integrative residential addiction treatment facility located in historic Winchester, Virginia, provides treatment for adults suffering from the disease of addiction. At Life Center of Galax, we provide a premier partial hospitalization program (PHP) for people who are in need of structured care for behavioral health concerns that have impacted their ability to function in their daily lives. In our PHP, we deliver evidence-based, life-changing treatment for those who are struggling with substance use disorders and certain co-occurring concerns. This addiction treatment program can be beneficial for adults age 18 and older who do not require 24-hour supervision or live-in care to achieve their goals. Our PHP typically takes an average of 10-21 days to complete, but each patient’s actual length of programming depends on their needs. Adults may enter this program directly or as a step-down to a less restrictive level of care from an inpatient or residential setting. In some cases, a person may step up to our PHP when traditional outpatient services cannot provide them with the support they need.

The Family Enrichment Center provides caring, supportive mental health services for all members of the family. Clients can participate in family, couple, group, or individual counseling. Adults, children, and adolescents are served. Group counseling focuses on: Batterer's Intervention/Domestic Violence, Anger Management, or Substance Abuse. Parenting classes are offered on a regular or one time basis. Supervised visitation or family reunification services are provided. Parental Capacity Evaluations are conducted. Life coaching, in-home counseling, and therapeutic mentoring are offered. Services can also be customized to meet your needs!
