At Clear Recovery we believe in an individualized approach to treatment. We believe that everyone recovers their own way and deserves their own treatment plan. We try to meet each client where they are at and start their treatment accordingly. While in treatment, we encourage clients to figure out “what’s next” after completing treatment. For some, this means finding meaningful employment, going back to school to learn a trade or earn a degree, or preparing to reunite with family. We believe that bringing families together is a huge part of recovery capital and strengthens long term recovery. To help facilitate this, we offer an open family group once a month that allows open communication on the recovery process with family and friends.

Havenwood Academy, a long-term residential treatment center in Southern Utah, specializes in treating young women who are struggling with complex trauma and attachment related issues. We work with (assigned female at birth) children from age 12 to 18 and often work with adoptive families.

Matt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the area of counseling/treatment since 1995. He possesses a Bachelors degree in Special Education from BYU and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah. Matt is the co-founder of Therapy Associates and the YPA Center. He has designed curriculums used in substance abuse treatment, sexual offenses treatment and sexual addiction treatment. He is the author of the workbook Breaking Free: A Therapeutic Workbook for Youth Struggling with Pornography Addiction.

Center for Change is a place of hope and healing that is committed to helping those suffering from eating disorders break free and fully recover. The Center offers intensive treatment for eating disorders and co-occurring issues, including a specialty program for co-occurring diabetes (ED-DMT1), and provides a full continuum of care: Inpatient, Residential, Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, and Outpatient therapeutic and dietary services. Salt Lake City Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides premier outpatient care for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to opioids. Zion Hills Academy, a nonprofit (501C3) Residential Treatment Center in Southern Utah, specializes in treating teen girls experiencing Reactive Attachment Disorder. Licensed by the State of Utah, Zion Hills utilizes state-of-the-art, research based and proven clinical methods such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Equine Therapy to help teen girls overcome their difficulties and learn to bond with their families. Mike Dusoe is a longtime practitioner and teacher in the Salt Lake Area. Currently teaching in counseling programs at the University of Utah and in the recent past the University of Phoenix, He was formerly the COO at the Utah Alcoholism Foundation and the VP of Clinical Services at Pioneer Healthcare. Licensed for more than 25 years He owns this clinic where the focus is on anxiety, depression as well as addictive disorders and maintains a private practice in addition to General Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient Services, along with Psychiatric Medical support at the clinic.

Taylorsville Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a trusted provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and is located in Taylorsville, Utah. We accept adults age 18 and older who are battling addictions to prescription painkillers, heroin, and other opioids. MAT combines the use of counseling and medication to address the psychological and physical aspects of addiction. Decades of research has proved its effectiveness in helping people achieve lasting recovery from opioid addictions. Prescription medication can keep you comfortable during treatment by reducing opioid cravings and other symptoms of withdrawal. Therapy sessions can help you identify the behavioral, emotional, and social effects of addiction and provide an opportunity for our experienced counselors to teach you strategies to cope with urges to use in the future. Throughout the 21st century, the United States has been impacted by epidemic levels of opioid abuse, addiction, and overdose. In 2000, opioid overdoses were responsible for about 8,400 deaths in the U.S. By 2020, the annual number of opioid overdose deaths in the U.S. had risen to more than 68,000. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that can be a valuable tool in the effort to reverse this trend. People who take part in MAT receive prescription medications that can ease the intense cravings and other distressing symptoms that are characteristic of opioid withdrawal. When they take these medications as directed, they may find it easier to stop using heroin, prescription pills, morphine, fentanyl, and other opioids. However, prescription medication cannot address the behavioral and social aspects of opioid addiction and recovery. To help people make the lifestyle changes that will support long-term recovery from opioid addiction, MAT programs also provide counseling. During counseling sessions, MAT patients can learn to manage stress, resolve conflicts, and deal with other difficult circumstances in a healthy manner without resorting to opioid abuse.
