STR Behavioral Health – Lehigh Valley is a premier substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorder outpatient program with a new location coming to Lehigh Valley, PA. For both substance use disorder and mental health clients, we will offer separate programs for each population. Our programs will include partial hospitalization treatment, intensive outpatient treatment (day and night programs), and outpatient care, all with the support of a psychiatric provider, licensed clinicians, and experienced professionals. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options as well as psychiatric medication management will be offered at all levels of care. Our programs are trauma-informed, individualized, and accredited by the Human Rights Campaign as a leader in providing LGBTQ+ services. We take a comprehensive and collaborative approach to care in a comfortable and safe environment prioritizing integrity, connection, and authenticity.

The prescription medications used in MAT have shown to alleviate the uncomfortable physical symptoms of withdrawal, such as nausea and cravings. MAT also involves counseling that allows adults to address things like past trauma, learn how to manage negative emotions, and develop healthy coping skills. With effective medication and counseling, MAT participants can make positive behavioral changes and set the groundwork for lasting recovery.

Clearbrook Treatment Centers has been providing a safe, medically supervised detoxification process since 1972. In order to ensure effective care, we built a brand new state-of-the-art detox unit in 2010. Along with our inpatient treatment program, our 22-bed detox unit is staffed 24-hours a day, giving our patients assurance that they are continuously cared for by our seasoned medical professionals. Cove Forge Behavioral Health provides a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions and co-occurring mental health concerns. Many patients enter this level of care following residential treatment, but some people enter our PHP directly. Individuals reside in housing at our residential location in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, and take part in programming for six hours per day, seven days a week, for a minimum of 14 days. However, each person's individual needs determine their actual length of stay. Patients in our PHP can benefit from a variety of services, which may include medication management; individual, family, group, and experiential therapies; and specialized recovery groups. Topics covered in groups may include relapse prevention strategies, stress management, building healthy relationships, and coping skills. Individuals in our PHP can also take advantage of our music groups, spirituality groups, gym time, and structured daily activities.
