Turnbridge is a nationally acclaimed provider of mental health and dual diagnosis treatment programs for adolescents (14-17) and young adults (18+). Turnbridge offers clients and their family members the comprehensive treatment services, consultation, and education needed to gain diagnostic clarity, assess executive functioning, and initiate whole-person healing. The Turnbridge treatment campuses are beautiful, welcoming, home-like environments in which clients, parents, and leading clinicians form an alliance focused on identifying the root causes of mental health conditions and address some of the most complex behavioral health problems. Located in Rose Garden, San Jose, Evolve’s partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs treat teens ages 12-17 with mental health, addiction, dual diagnosis, and/or behavioral issues. Our licensed, specialized staff utilize evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), daily group sessions and psychoeducation, individual and family therapy, multifamily groups, and psychiatry. We also integrate therapeutic modalities for addiction recovery, such as Relapse Prevention, DBT for Substance Abuse, 12-Step support programs, and SMART Recovery. Many of our adolescents struggle with emotion dysregulation. They may display high-risk, self-harming or suicidal behaviors. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is research-proven to help reduce these issues. Through DBT, we teach our patients the skills needed for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, improved impulse control, and effective communication. Teens also receive daily academic support and participate in experiential therapies such as music, art, mindfulness, yoga, and psychodrama.

At Evolve, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based treatment for teens aged 12-17 struggling with dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, ADHD, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, and other mental health/behavioral issues. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has a high, research-proven success rate for adolescents with depression, anxiety, high emotional sensitivity, self-harming behaviors, and/or suicidal ideation. At Evolve Vanalden, we don’t just learn DBT—we live it. Our Comprehensive DBT treatment program is suited for teens ages 12-17 who struggle with these and other mental health, behavioral, and/or substance abuse issues. Evolve is one of the only treatment centers in the country that offers a Comprehensive DBT residential program for teens. We incorporate all four Comprehensive DBT requirements: individual & family therapy, 24/7 in-the-moment skills coaching, skills training groups, and a weekly consultation team. Teens learn the four core skills of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance and benefit from weekly psychiatric supervision, daily academic support, and daily experiential therapies including equine, surf, drama, music, art, yoga and more. Whether during breakfast, group, downtime, or a midnight crisis, our therapists and residential counselors help our teens practice DBT skills at all hours of the day and night.

We treat teens diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, or other issues. Evolve's robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy (at least five scheduled 1-hour sessions a week), DBT Skills Training Groups (4 times a week), and skills coaching (24/7). Teens learn and practice the four core skills of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. At Evolve, we don't just learn DBT, we live it. Adolescents under the age of 18 face a unique set of challenges when it comes to overcoming substance use disorders and staying sober long-term. Guardian Recovery's Adolescent Program addresses these challenges, helping younger clients develop the skills necessary to maintain sobriety.

As a premier non-profit behavioral health system, our residential program for boys and girls, ages 6-17, treats a wide range of mental health disorders. We also offer a dual diagnosis program for co-occurring mental health illness and substance abuse. We are TRICARE-approved, with expertise and focused concentration is helping children from military families throughout the U.S. and overseas. Our 32-acre open college-like campus on the border of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition, The Barry Robinson offers an Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents and young adults (18-24) with diagnoses including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and who use drugs or alcohol. This service is currently offered at our Norfolk location as well as through Telehealth communications. Intensive Outpatient program is not specific to only military families.
