Since 2013, Middle River Asheville was founded on the premise that, by helping other addicts and alcoholics, its members can provide and participate in a more purposeful, meaningful, and spiritual recovery program. Adolescents’ bodies and brains are still developing, so when young people struggle with addictions, they can be negatively impacted in unique ways. Adolescents who have substance use disorders can experience impaired brain development, academic problems, and struggles with interpersonal relationships. They can also be at risk for developing mental health concerns. At Village Behavioral Health, we believe that addressing mental health concerns and addictions together through dual diagnosis treatment can lead to the most optimal results for young people. We offer three dual diagnosis programs that are organized by gender and age group. Our Nova Program serves youths ages 10-12 of all genders who are suffering from mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. We also have residential programs for teen girls and boys ages 13-17 who need dual diagnosis treatment.

We serve clients 18 years old and up. We serve primary substance use disorder clients in our intensive outpatient program, as well as in general outpatient counseling, outpatient group therapy, and medication management. We also serve primary mental health clients who are struggling with an array of mental health and/or adjustment issues (grief, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship issues, etc) in a general outpatient capacity. Our primary mental health clients may also participate in medication management if needed.

Located in heart of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, Next Step Recovery provides an outpatient addiction treatment center known as PHP & IOP to men in recovery from substance use disorders. Next Step Recovery serves men between 18 and 40 years old who are striving for Recovery, have completed in-patient treatment such as residential treatment or medical detox, have 30 days clean and sober, or for men whose outpatient treatment services were not effective. In another program offering, Next Step Recovery is integrated with NSR of Asheville's Transitional Living Program to provide a unique Extended Care Recovery Treatment model. At Pinehurst Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Pinehurst, North Carolina, we provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid addictions. Pavillon's outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs do not require that the individual be confined to a treatment center or hospital for supervised care. This allows clients to lessen the impact on their work and home life. Throughout the program, our clinical and medical staff help clients learn how to live free from substance and alcohol abuse, come to terms with the disease of addiction and honestly accept the need to work toward change, improve the quality of their relationships, develop spiritual strengths for feeling good about self and how to obtain a more balanced lifestyle and take the time needed to integrate recovery tools into daily living.

Wilmington Treatment Center is a premier addiction rehabilitation center located in the beautiful coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina. We accept patients age 18 and older who are struggling with symptoms of substance use disorders and certain co-occurring mental health concerns. We are dedicated to using an individualized approach to treatment and customize each patient’s treatment plan according to their unique needs and goals. We offer several programming options to meet patients where they are on the journey to healing, including a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that supports patients who need structure without 24-hour supervision. Though many of our PHP patients begin in our detox or residential program, we have some patients who begin treatment at the PHP level. This program typically lasts up to 28 days; however, the actual duration will depend on the personal needs of the patient.

Hillsborough Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a clinically excellent provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to opioids such as heroin, fentanyl, and prescription painkillers. MAT is time-tested and considered a first-line form of opioid addiction care by respected organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). At Hillsborough CTC, MAT combines the use of FDA-approved medications with counseling to comprehensively address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of opioid addiction. The medications that are available for patients will vary across different clinics in our CTC network but may include methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol. These medications can alleviate symptoms and cravings that are part of the opioid withdrawal process. Located in Raleigh, NC, Green Hill is an academic and career-oriented program that offers transitional living and intensive outpatient (IOP) services. Green Hill provides structured sober living, academic and college admissions counseling, career counseling, experiential and holistic therapy as well as intensive outpatient (IOP) clinical services to young adults who are dealing with substance use disorder and other co-occurring disorders.
