Synergy Counseling Center offers General Counseling Services for children and adults as well as Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) for men and women ages 18 and older struggling with substance abuse and mental health. Services include psychoeducation classes on a variety of topics, group counseling, and individual counseling. We work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to best meet your unique treatment needs and goals.

Located in Springfield, Missouri, Lakeland Behavioral Health System offers an acute inpatient treatment program for children and adolescents ages 4-17 who are suffering from mental health and emotional concerns. During their time with us, young people can benefit from the combined experience of our mental health and medical professionals. These professionals include physicians, registered nurses, social workers, psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health technicians. Because adolescence is a time of significant emotional and physical change, it’s essential for a young person’s care to be developmentally appropriate. Our teams specialize in delivering age-specific treatment that can help each young patient thrive at home, in school, and in their community. Because each young person has different needs, we don’t predetermine a specific length of stay in our adolescent inpatient program. Our team evaluates each youth’s progress on a regular basis to determine how long they should continue participating in programming.

At SSM Health Behavioral Health Outpatient Services St. Mary's Hospital- St. Louis our programs provide care to adults, 18 and older, including seniors, experiencing a variety of mental health needs, such as, stress, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, psychosis, and schizophrenia. If you are ready to reduce your mental health symptoms, prevent hospitalization and avoid relapse, our program is for you. We will work with you to improve and maintain your optimal level of functioning and improve your quality of life.

Our therapeutic model utilizes different approaches in order to provide clients with multiple avenues to find mental wellness, recovery and an overall improvement in their life. Our approach employs medical and psychiatric expertise, licensed clinical therapy and holistic activities performed in a safe and structured environment, in order to award clients with the necessary tools to find healing. McCallum Place offers two levels of outpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older: a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). These programs provide comprehensive, personalized care for people who have eating disorders like bulimia, binge-eating disorder, and anorexia. People who take part in our PHP receive full days of treatment, while our IOP offers half days of treatment. Both programs offer a more structured schedule than traditional outpatient therapy provides. During their time in outpatient treatment, each person participates in daily group therapy sessions that cover topics specific to their unique needs. Depending on their treatment goals, they may also take part in one-on-one counseling, family therapy, and experiential therapies like art therapy and yoga. CenterPointe provides virtual and in-person intensive outpatient programs for individuals who are seeking treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. Offering a variety of treatment options for children, adolescents, and adults, we strive to meet each person where they are. Outpatient treatment services are appropriate for patients who demonstrate medication compliance, the ability to maintain home, work and school commitments and have support from their home and social environments. Outpatient is ideal for individuals experiencing moderate to moderately severe symptoms that do not require inpatient hospitalization but need added support to regain stability with their mental health.

For some people, that might involve living at a treatment facility temporarily so that they can step away from life’s daily stressors and focus fully on their recovery. At McCallum Place, we offer residential treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorder. Because live-in treatment is intended to give people time to build a strong foundation in early recovery, most people stay with us for about 30 days. They usually spend that time taking part in daily group therapy, with the topics covered in each session tailored to their specific needs. Depending on a person’s individual goals, their treatment may also include medical care, medication management, individual counseling, family therapy, and various experiential therapies like yoga, art therapy, and music therapy. We also offer a specialized inpatient track for athletes through The Victory Program.

Calo Programs offers residential treatment for adolescents and teens that is uniquely focused and specially equipped to treat students and families impacted by traumatic experiences which occurred in the developmental period, such as adoption, chronic stress, and inconsistent care from caregivers. These adolescents struggle to be in healthy relationship with family and peers, experience emotional dysregulation, and often fail to maintain safe behavior in school or at home. We want to make sure that everyone we work with has everything they need to remain successful long after their time with us ends. Whether someone seeks treatment at our St. Louis, Missouri, or Kansas City, Kansas, location, they receive an aftercare plan that we personalize to their specific needs and goals. We start planning each person’s aftercare on their first day of treatment so that their plan is as comprehensive as possible. This is a collaborative process in which a person works together with a discharge planner, their treatment team, and members of their family, as appropriate, to determine the next steps in their recovery journey. This might include transitioning to another level of care or receiving a referral to an outside provider, along with identifying any community resources they may need and specific areas to continue focusing on.
