Options Behavioral Health, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a leading provider of inpatient treatment for adults ages 18-64. We provide care for adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders and need immediate stabilization. Therapies are delivered by a diverse team of professionals that includes master's-level social workers and counselors, licensed nursing staff, and psychiatrists. Our staff members have extensive experience and training in specialty areas such as applied behavior analysis, forensic interviewing, chemical dependency, and domestic violence support. During their stay at our hospital, patients can participate in a range of evidence-based therapies and programming. Within 72 hours of admission, patients have an individual therapy session with a licensed clinician. Patients can also take part in daily process, activity, and psychoeducation groups led by our nursing and counseling staff. Adults ages 18-55 typically remain in inpatient care for three to seven days, but adults age 55 and older can stay for up to 14 days.

Our adolescent inpatient program serves youths who are struggling with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Inpatient treatment can be ideal for young people who have acute concerns and can benefit from crisis intervention. Our adolescent inpatient program has a typical length of stay of five to seven days, but a young person may remain in our care for the length of time that best fits their needs. When your child takes part in our adolescent inpatient program in Fort Wayne, Indiana, they will receive an individualized treatment plan that outlines the elements of care that can best meet their needs and support their therapeutic goals. A young person’s treatment plan may include medication management services, individual therapy, family therapy, and basic medical care. We also offer daily group therapy sessions for patients. Our goal is to deliver intensive support and prepare each adolescent for continued success.

Hendricks Behavioral Hospital offers inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization for adults and adolescents (ages 13 to 17) and medical detoxification services for adults. Our mental and behavioral health program addresses issues such as: suicidal ideations, self-harm, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, co-occurring disorders and trauma accompanied by behavioral and mental health issues. We currently offer detox services for alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. We also offer both psychiatric and dual diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for both adults and adolescents.

And we provide expert addiction care for people who are struggling with the use of substances like alcohol, benzodiazepines, heroin, and cocaine. Inpatient treatment provides the chance for patients to stabilize, improve crisis symptoms, and receive a plan for continuing care. Adults remain in our inpatient program for about five to seven days, though their exact length of stay usually depends on their individual progress.
