MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital in New Castle, Delaware, is a leading provider of partial hospitalization programming (PHP) for adolescents, adults, and seniors. We serve individuals who need comprehensive treatment for a range of behavioral health concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and schizophrenia. Our PHP is designed to help people who could benefit from structured psychiatric care but do not necessarily require round-the-clock inpatient treatment. Patients who take part in this programming option meet five days a week for six hours each day. Group therapy is the primary method of care in our PHP. While some methadone clinics just provide medication to help people stop opioid use, our CTC offers methadone and counseling services to promote lasting recovery. Methadone is an FDA-approved prescription medication that can alleviate the painful withdrawal symptoms people may experience when they quit using opioids. The therapy component of MAT can give patients the chance to address the emotional aspects of recovery. By receiving medication and therapy as part of MAT, patients can improve their functioning, avoid relapse, and achieve lasting recovery from opioid addictions.
