Retreat at Lancaster County, Treatment Facility in Ephrata
“Dealing with drug or alcohol addiction and recovery can be a difficult process often accompanied by feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. Those already dealing with alcohol or drug dependence may not have the coping mechanisms needed to properly heal during this time. Many mental health professionals often identify five stages of grief - denial, bargaining, anger, depression and acceptance. Since some of these emotions often overlap with the addiction process, treatment for both can often be achieved at the same time, but it takes special attention to these unique circumstances to obtain a successful outcome. At The Retreat, we have designed a program that focuses on rehabilitating those that require such extra care and strength to get through their addiction. Track groups meet Monday through Friday Individual sessions with clinical specialists, available daily Holistic component. RECOVERY PLANNING - Focus on developing sober support Learning to make changes in daily living to support recovery LIVING THE SOLUTION - FOCUS ON SOBRIETY Focus on taking a proactive approach in the first year of sobriety Learning to see the world through new sober eyes. RELAPSE PREVENTION- Learning to identify triggers for relapse and developing an action plan Learning how to identify stages of relapse

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Treatment Centers
These treatment centers provide Intensive Outpatient Programs in Lancaster County and involve intensive outpatient treatment.

The intensive outpatient treatment program Lancaster County aids those in the early phases of sobriety and recovery from substance abuse. It is a program designed to help individuals develop the insight and skills necessary to be abstinent from drugs and/or alcohol.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (also known as IOP for "Intensive Outpatient Program") is a primary treatment program recommended in some circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment. IOP may be recommended for those who do not need medically-supervised detox. IOP can also enable people in recovery to continue their recovery therapies following successful detox, on a part-time yet intensive schedule, designed to accommodate work and family life.

Start rebuilding your personal life and mending your important family ties right away, when you live at home and participate in intensive outpatient treatment in Lancaster County. With the Intensive Outpatient Treatment program you are able to establish a foundation for long term recovery support in your local community right from the start of your treatment, instead of waiting until you return from living away in a rehab center.

In the Intensive Outpatient Program, you continue your life with support from the local clinical, emotional and peer support systems provided by the IOP.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment

INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Residential Inpatient treatment in Lancaster County usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Lancaster County.

Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Lancaster County, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.

Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.

OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Outpatient treatment programs in Lancaster County or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.

Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Lancaster County are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.

Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
