Valley Recovery Center provides residential treatment services for adult men suffering from substance abuse and co-occurring conditions. Our treatment team providers will evaluate the client’s medical health, mental health and substance use history in order to design an individualized treatment plan tailored to meet the varying needs of the client and his or her family. Clients reside in a non-institutional, home-like setting with private individual bedrooms that provide a safe and secure healing environment. Providing gender-specific treatment in a smaller group setting helps clients remain focused on the recovery process and strengthen trusting relationships. We have several homes located in the northern Los Angeles area and are licensed by the state of California and certified by The Joint Commission.

At Evolve Residential Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based treatment for teens and children ages 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, dual diagnosis, ADHD, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary therapeutic modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Teens and children participate in individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry sessions; daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention); and daily academics. For families from out-of-state, we conduct family therapy remotely. At Evolve, our goal is compassionate, high-quality treatment that will last long after your child or teen leaves our program. We offer daily experiential activities proven to support recovery (e.g. equine therapy, surf, art, drama, music, yoga, etc.) and 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses. We also offer remote family therapy and daily academic support to help your child stay on track with school. Our philosophy is to minimize medications and provide one on one intensive treatment in an intimate small group environment. We service all adult ages and also offer specialty treatment tracts that address the unique needs of seniors, chronic pain sufferers. Treatment is provided to only 6 clients at a time to provide highly individualized attention. Our exclusive residence accommodates a maximum of six teens at a time, allowing us to offer highly personalized treatment programs that cater to your teen’s specific needs. What may work for some, may not work for others. Knowing that addiction is a different, chronic disease for many people, options have been created to provide unique and individual care. One of these options is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). History, science, and doctors have shown alcoholism and drug addiction are progressive, primary and potentially fatal diseases. An IOP allows individuals to learn the skills necessary to recover their mental health and/or substance use issues and allows them to integrate these skills into their lives. Our IOP is an effective way to continue the duties of daily life and treat this disease.
