Our robust residential program includes one-on-one therapy, family therapy (with out-of-state families joining remotely), group therapy, psychiatry, and 24/7 skills-coaching. Teens also participate in experiential therapies proven to support recovery (e.g. equine, art, surf, drama, music, fitness, cooking, yoga, kickboxing, etc.) as well as daily academic support to keep them on track with school. We also offer gender affirming treatment for LGBTQ+ and transgender youth.

You can rest assured from the moment your teen begins their unique healing journey with us, your loved one is safe, welcomed and supported. Our exclusive residence accommodates a maximum of six teens at a time, allowing us to offer highly personalized treatment programs that cater to your teen’s specific needs. Providing personalized treatment plans and comprehensive support, we ensure that every teen receives the necessary assistance to navigate their path toward healing and recovery from mental health challenges like: Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse, OCD, Self-Harm, PTSD and Trauma, Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, and Addiction. We also ensure through our Rise to Success program that your teen is growing and empowered achieving critical clinical and lifeskill milestones and stays on track with academics.

Our skilled clinicians utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to treat issues related to substance abuse and co-occurring mental disorders. Each member of our team was hand picked in order to create a warm and supportive environment for your teen and family. All adolescents receive bi-weekly individual therapy sessions in addition to extensive family therapy. Supplemental daily group therapy sessions promote further growth for your teen within his or her peer group.

Our mission at Polaris Teen Center is to assist adolescents ages 13 to 17 in the initial phase of addressing and treating a mental disorder that has significantly impaired everyday functioning and has resulted in destructive consequences. Teens participate in individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week, weekly psychiatry sessions, and daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention), as well as learning coping skills and participating in daily academics. For families from out-of-state, we conduct family therapy remotely. We offer daily experiential activities proven to support recovery (e.g. equine therapy, surf, art, drama, music, yoga, etc.) and 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses. We are a fully adherent, comprehensive, outpatient, mental health treatment program serving teens, adults, couples and families throughout California. We provide high quality individual, family and group therapies to those seeking to improve their lives, their relationships and reach their goals. Our clients are usually seeking help managing emotions, thoughts and behaviors and improve communication with others. We have a strong emphasis in interpersonal skills, emotion regulation managing and distress tolerance skills, as well as mindfulness, the foundation of what we teach and the cornerstone of our practice. Evolve Vanalden is a Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Residential Treatment Center: the first of its kind in California and one of only a handful in the country. DBT is an evidence-based treatment that has been proven to help reduce emotion dysregulation, self-harming behavior, and/or suicidal ideation. We treat teens diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, or other issues. Evolve's robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy (at least five scheduled 1-hour sessions a week), DBT Skills Training Groups (4 times a week), and skills coaching (24/7). Teens learn and practice the four core skills of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. At Evolve, we don't just learn DBT, we live it. With the help of our specialized staff, teens practice and apply their DBT skills at all opportunities throughout the day.

Clear Behavioral Health (formerly Insight Treatment) Programs are intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) programs for teens and early young adults (13-18 years of age) suffering from mental health and addiction issues.
