"Our 28 bed Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit is staffed with experienced professionals who understand the pain and conflict of dealing with mental and emotional illness. Springbrook is recognized as a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Business. Direction and leadership is provided by our experienced nursing team, therapists, and psychiatrists. These programs provide comprehensive mental and physical evaluations, medical intervention and medication management, individual and group therapy sessions, skilled nursing observation, and a balance of rest and activity. The Adult Inpatient Psychiatry programs are divided into two individual programs; acute (situational, ex. depression) and chronic (long-term, persistent mental illness) programs. The programs are designed for individuals 18 years and older. The programs are covered by Medicare, Commercial Insurance, TRICARE, VA, and self pay. Springbrook is a CMS approved facility and is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Springbrook is accredited through the Joint Commission."
