About Anxiety: Anxiety is the result of fear. When we are afraid, our body responds by producing physiological symptoms such as heart palpitations, sweating, trembling or shaking, shortness of breath, dizziness, and chest pain. Typically ones instinct is to go into a "flight" response, rather than stay and "fight" what is scaring us. We use virtual reality technology as an evidence-based approach to treat various psychological disorders. One of the main issues treated using VRET is post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). VRET enables individuals with PTSD to confront their fears in a safe and controlled environment, gradually reducing their anxiety levels. Another significant issue treated using VRET is phobias.
