ASAP, the Adolescent Substance Abuse Program, has proven itself Arizona's finest outpatient treatment program for substance abuse in teens ages 13-19 since 1991. In 2021 ASAP proudly celebrated its 30-year anniversary. ASAP is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The clinic offers two levels of outpatient treatment to help adults whose lives have been disrupted by depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring addiction. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) each feature a customized array of evidence-based, research-backed services. Adults can step down to these programs after completing residential or inpatient treatment, step up after completing traditional outpatient care or enter directly at the PHP or IOP level. Each adult undergoes a comprehensive assessment prior to admission that allows our team to develop a personalized treatment plan. At the PHP level, that plan may consist of medication management services, basic medical care, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and experiential therapies. Adults in the IOP participate in weekly individual therapy and a variety of daily group therapy sessions.
