Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for pre-teens, adolescents, and adults.
Simply put, it’s our mission to provide effective, caring, and high-quality mental health services. At our Phoenix, Arizona mental health clinic, we provide in-person and telehealth therapy, medication management and telepsychiatry, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP). What we do impacts the lives of our clients and their friends and families, and we take this responsibility seriously. The quality of our treatment is so important to us that we voluntarily completed the rigorous process required to receive accreditation by The Joint Commission. This difficult accreditation is usually only attempted by hospitals because of the intensity of the requirements – making us one of the only outpatient mental health practices in the Phoenix area to achieve this. We offer the full continuum of outpatient mental health services, which means that you can work with the same treatment team as your needs evolve – no more starting over again with someone new as needs change. Our diverse team can work with the whole family – children, teens, and adults and over the years we have had the honor of working with multiple family members at the same time.

As a general mental health IOP, we only see clients who are working through an anxiety, depression, bipolar, personality, or OCD diagnosis.
Whether you are an adult or a teenager dealing with a depression, anxiety, trauma, or an OCD diagnosis, you have come to the right place. People seek us out when the demands of life have become too difficult to manage on a daily basis. Life might even feel like it is going backwards. You have have given yourself the pep talks about how this day is going to be different and maybe you can piece things together for a week or so at a time, but nothing has quite seemed to stick. Perhaps it seems like some things are going well, but you still don't feel like yourself and you know that there is more to life. You need the right tools to get out of the battles in your mind. You are not here because your are inherently broken. You do not need to stay like this for the rest of your life. There is not something that is ultimately wrong with you. You just haven't found the right way out...yet.

In Balance, is a Joint Commission accredited and state licensed intensive outpatient program dedicated to providing top quality, interactive services for clients with substance abuse and mental health co-occurring disorders. Its very name is derived from its commitment to address all four elements of an individual's human being: physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. In Balance works in three different ways: using a 12-step curriculum, group therapy led by a skilled clinician and incorporating experiential based therapy. Our philosophy is that by mixing up the different modalities, the group members feel an excitement about each and every session. Our program is currently only serving adults 18 and older.

Oasis Behavioral Health provides two separate intensive outpatient programs (IOPs): an adolescent IOP for young people ages 11-17 and an IOP for adults age 18 and older. Both tracks are available for people who are suffering from mental health concerns and addictions. Intensive outpatient programming can be an ideal option for patients who do not require round-the-clock monitoring or live-in care. Those who participate in our IOPs have the flexibility to continue fulfilling their responsibilities outside of treatment, whether at school, at work, or in their communities. Adolescents and adults may enter intensive outpatient treatment directly without completing a higher level of care. Patients in our IOPs attend treatment three days a week for an average of eight weeks. During this time, they may engage in several evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, 12-Step programming, and group therapy. We also offer an education-focused support group for families and parents that takes place twice a month.

Our full continuum of care includes residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; continuing care through virtual sessions; and a robust Alumni program providing online and in-person events and support groups.
Strengthening authentic connections with self and others—including healing disruptions in the parent-child bond—is at the heart of our treatment approach. Teens in our outpatient and residential programs build self-compassion, resilience, healthy coping skills, and more trusting relationships with parents and peers. Each client’s individualized treatment plan is informed by their specific needs and history and designed by mental health treatment specialists who are the best in their respective fields. Teens are surrounded by 360-degree care, with a team that includes a psychiatrist, individual therapists, family therapists, experiential therapists, and other experts focused on treating underlying issues and external manifestations of mental health conditions. Moreover, our outcomes research sets us apart, continually validating the positive impact of our treatment model despite the increasing acuity of clients’ diagnoses
