We are a group of over 25 mental health professionals located in Chicago Loop specializing in counseling, psychotherapy, and coaching for individuals, couples, and families. We chose the name Symmetry because the word evokes our goal to assist you in developing an ability to remain balanced and resilient under the forces of change.

Brightside Clinic is a leader in providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid and heroin substance use disorders. Evolve’s residential treatment center offers compassionate, evidence-based treatment to adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, substance use, and/or behavioral issues. Many of our teens have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, conduct disorder, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Our handpicked treatment team consists of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, on-site nurses, Master’s-level residential counselors and 24-hour support staff. We utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with experiential therapies (e.g. equine-assisted therapy, mindfulness, surfing, music, art, drama, fitness, yoga and more). Teens participate in individual/family therapy at least five times a week, psychiatry sessions once a week, and daily groups on DBT Skills, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention. For out-of-state families, we conduct family therapy sessions via HIPAA-compliant video conference. We also provide daily academic support to help your adolescent stay on track with school.
