Youth Care Treatment Center, located in Draper, Utah, provides quality education services for adolescents ages 11-17 who are participating in our residential treatment program. Our academic program is fully accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and is designed to cater to the individual needs of students who are struggling with substance use concerns and mental health disorders. Our certified educators are highly experienced in working with gifted students, adolescents who have learning disabilities, and those facing behavioral challenges. Through our education program, we strive to equip each student with the skills and knowledge for lasting success. Upon enrollment in our academic program at Youth Care, students complete an educational assessment conducted by our teachers. This assessment is designed to determine each student’s academic level and to inform the development of their individualized class schedule. Our academic curriculum is aligned with the Utah State Core Curriculum and offers more than 60 diverse classes for student participation.

Evolve offers the highest caliber of evidenced-based care in the nation for children and adolescents 12-17 who are struggling with mental health, substance use, and dual-diagnosis issues. We specialize in children and teens battling depression, anxiety, trauma, high-risk/self-harm behaviors, ADHD, addiction, suicidal ideation, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our approach emphasizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), along with other evidence-based modalities such as Seeking Safety (Trauma), Relapse Prevention, Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and 12-Step support programs.
