Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in addition to Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Activation, and other data-driven modalities. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission to develop a highly detailed treatment plan that considers the patient’s individual history and symptoms. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy, psychiatry, academic support, and daily groups (e.g. DBT Skills Training, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety). Evolve San Diego’s partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs treat teens ages 12-17 with mental health, addiction, dual diagnosis, and/or behavioral issues. Our licensed, specialized staff utilize evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), individual and family therapy, multifamily groups, psychiatry, and daily group sessions and psychoeducation (on topics such as DBT Skills, Relapse Prevention, Anger Management, and Seeking Safety.) We also integrate therapeutic modalities for addiction recovery, such as DBT for Substance Abuse, 12-Step support programs, and SMART Recovery. Many of our adolescents struggle with emotion dysregulation and high-risk, self-harming or suicidal behaviors. DBT is research-proven to help reduce these issues. Through DBT, we teach our patients the skills needed for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, improved impulse control, and effective communication. Our residence accommodates a maximum of six teens at a time, allowing us to offer highly personalized treatment programs that cater to your child's specific needs. Our serene estate, combined with our dedicated doctoral-level staff, creates the ideal environment for restoration and recovery.

We treat children, age 8-19, who are suffering from the following: Suicidal Thoughts, Self Harm/Cutting, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, ADHD, Autism, Gender Issues, Disruptive Disorder, Mild and Moderate Eating Disorders, Divorce/Family Problems, Personality Disorders, LGBTQ+ Related Issues.  We do individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and psychiatry in a comfortable upscale setting in Costa Mesa or via telehealh. We accept health insurance and we make treatment affordable. We have telehealth available for children anywhere in the state of California. We do not treat addiction, we do not accept addicts into the program. Your child will not be exposed to the influence of drug addicts during group therapy at OC Teen Center and California Teen Center. Evolve Treatment Center is a premier location supporting adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, addiction, and/or behavioral issues. Our outpatient programs are geared towards teens whose symptoms and behaviors are disrupting their day-to-day home living. Teens in our Partial Hospitalization Program participate in our full day of structured programming five days a week. Teens in our Intensive Outpatient Program attend three hours of programming three/four days a week. Our programs serve as a smooth transition for teens stepping down from an inpatient or residential treatment program, or as a higher level of treatment for teens requiring more structure than just weekly outpatient therapy. In both telehealth programs, teens receive individual and family sessions, multiple group sessions a day, psychiatric evaluations and educational/academic support (all via HIPAA-compliant video conference). Teens also participate in experiential activities like music therapy, art therapy, meditation, and yoga. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, structured, and accepting environment where adolescents learn the skills necessary for sustainable recovery.
