Sustain Recovery offers a unique approach to adolescent care. Unlike a typical residential treatment program in which the length of stay is 30-90 days, Sustain Recovery offers Gender Separate Extended Care treatment for clients recently completing a primary treatment program, or clients needing a longer-term solution. Our minimum length of stay is 90 days however many clients can be with Sustain Recovery for 6 months or more, but can vary based on our residents progress and individual needs.

NOTE: We do not take MediCal at this time. Exist Centers is Orange County's premier outpatient (PHP/IOP) program designed to specifically target the physical, cognitive, and psychological causes of both substance use and mental health disorders. We know people can heal, and we provide comprehensive, human-first treatment. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides intensive daily therapy for substance use and mental health concerns, without overnight stays. It's ideal for inpatient transitions or those needing more support than traditional therapy. PHP is Monday through Friday, 5x a week. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides flexible treatment for substance use, with therapy and education sessions fitting into daily schedules. It's ideal for balancing recovery with personal, school, or work commitments. IOP is 3-5x a week, Monday-Friday, Mornings or Afternoons. If you need housing, we can help you find appropriate local transitional housing.

The MLJ facility serves individuals struggling with substance abuse or alcoholism. These clients typically require support with detoxification, stabilization, and comprehensive programming to address the underlying causes of their addiction. Their needs include medical detox, clinical therapy, personalized counseling, education on addiction, coping skills development, relapse prevention strategies, and assistance with reintegration into daily life post-treatment. We provide IOP & PHP programs that include many treatment modalities, such as psychotherapy approaches, medications, and holistic approaches such as yoga, meditation, and mindfulness therapies. Evidence-based treatment for dual-diagnosis disorders includes drugs or psychotherapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, or a combination. Medications are prescribed for specific conditions evaluated by our medical director: whereas psychotherapy, in one form or another, can be used for mental health disorders.
