A national leader in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), OC-spectrum disorders and other anxiety disorders, our treatment programs in Chicago use evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on exposure and response prevention (ERP) for children, teens and adults. Our specialized treatment team in Chicago works with patients to identify the situations that increase their anxiety, and then develop a personalized plan consisting of small steps to work toward overcoming their anxiety or eating disorder, celebrating their success along the way. Our programs include: Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Secure Intensive Treatment, Open Residential Programming, and Diagnostic Evaluation. All qualified children will be considered for our residential programs and referrals are accepted from judges, youth serving professionals, educators, counselors, parents, and others. Crossroad will accept clients with medical challenges including, but not limited to, seizure disorders, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, diabetes, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, cancer, and shunt placement.
