Carolina House, located in Durham, North Carolina, provides residential eating disorder treatment for people who are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders. We also offer comprehensive treatment for people who have co-occurring mental health concerns. We provide care at two locations: Our first facility is designed for women age 17 and older, and our second facility serves adults age 18 and older of all genders. The goal of both residential treatment programs is to help people find healing and lasting freedom from the burdens of eating disorders. The average length of stay at this level of care is 30-60 days, but each person’s actual length of stay depends on their unique needs. Treatment at our facility incorporates a number of therapies, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), motivational interviewing (MI), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). While in treatment, clients can also benefit from medical care, medication management services, and individual, group, family, and experiential therapies.

Newport Academy’s Virginia location offers treatment for boys between the ages of 12-17. Our integrated approach treats the trauma and attachment wounds underlying teen mental health and behavioral issues, such as anxiety, depression, & eating disorders. We address these root causes through comprehensive, solution-focused treatment that involves the entire family in the healing process. To support our teens and their families in achieving long-term, sustainable healing, our clinical model takes into account every aspect of a teen’s well-being—physical, psychological, relational, educational, and spiritual—so they can thrive when they return home to their families, schools, and communities. Ashley Addiction Treatment is a private, non-profit, Joint Commission accredited, 100-bed, inpatient addiction and chronic pain treatment center located on a picturesque, 147-acre campus on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay in Northern Maryland. Ashley is south of New York City and Philadelphia, and north of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. We offer full medical detox services and our Pain Recovery Program that provides chronic pain treatment for those needing pain management and help to reduce their dependence on opiates and other pain medications. We have tracks for men and women as well as programs for young adults, first treatment and those who have suffered a relapse. HEAL provides equine facilitated psychotherapy services to Adults, Couples, Teens and Adolescents with a focus on active duty Military, Veterans, First Responders or their family members. We are able to accept non-Military clients on a case by case basis depending on our waitlist. Our clients have been impacted by their experiences while serving in the military or first responder communities to include Military Sexual Trauma. Hallmark Youthcare is an safe and secure 82 bed psychiatric residential treatment facility for at-risk youth ages 11-17, who have general psychiatric disorders, substance abuse issues, victim of sex trafficking and males with sexually acting out behaviors.
