Many of our teens have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, conduct disorder, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Our handpicked treatment team consists of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, on-site nurses, Master’s-level residential counselors and 24-hour support staff. We utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with experiential therapies (e.g. equine-assisted therapy, mindfulness, surfing, music, art, drama, fitness, yoga and more). Teens participate in individual/family therapy at least five times a week, psychiatry sessions once a week, and daily groups on DBT Skills, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has a high, research-proven success rate for adolescents with depression, anxiety, high emotional sensitivity, self-harming behaviors, and/or suicidal ideation. Our Comprehensive DBT treatment program is suited for teens ages 12-17 who struggle with these and other mental health, behavioral, and/or substance abuse issues. Northwest College Support exists to help young adults ages 18 60 26 transitioning from treatment programs, wilderness programs, and leaving their home environment. We are a caring and supportive team of dedicated professionals helping young adults find their path to success in college, vocation, high school completion and living independence. Based out of beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Northwest College Support provides a wide range of supportive services to help students meet their potential as they attend college. The range of services provided is widely variable based on each student's needs and goals. We treat teens diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, or other issues. Evolve's robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy (at least five scheduled 1-hour sessions a week), DBT Skills Training Groups (4 times a week), and skills coaching (24/7). Teens learn and practice the four core skills of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. At Evolve, we don't just learn DBT, we live it. With the help of our specialized staff, teens practice and apply their DBT skills at all opportunities throughout the day.
