Evolve offers evidence-based treatment to adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, self-harm or high-risk behaviors, suicidal ideation, and other mental health/behavioral issues. Our residential treatment center in Los Angeles offers a warm, accepting environment where teens can stabilize and learn practical ways to improve their emotion regulation, impulse control, and distress tolerance skills. Teens participate in individual/family therapy multiple times a week, psychiatry sessions weekly, and daily groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety. Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely. Our focus is on Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy integrated with experiential therapies (equine-assisted therapy, art, surfing, music, drama, yoga, fitness, and more).
