NeuStart Psychiatry was created from the need to provide professional mental health services to our community by using evidenced based practice treatment in combination with comprehensive psychiatry services. We provide comprehensive mental health services to serve a growing community need. We also provide treatment flexibility with the availability of TelePsych therapy sessions in order to create service sustainability and continuity when busy lives get in the way.

Our treatment approach emphasizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), along with other evidence-based modalities like Seeking Safety, Relapse Prevention, Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based CBT and 12-Step support programs. Evolve’s robust residential program includes individual and family therapy, psychiatry, coping skills training, group therapy, experiential therapies (e.g. equine, surf, art, music, drama, yoga, etc.) and 24/7 skills-coaching. For out-of-state families, we offer family therapy via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing. We also provide daily academic support to keep children and teens on track with school. Our clientele includes those who have experienced developmental or systemic trauma, interpersonal abuse, sexual assault, organizational abuse, and/or those who have experienced a single incident trauma such as a car accident or fire. ITTC works well with those who are generally stable in their lives and are ready for the hard work of working through past hurts. Those who may not have responded well to talk therapy alone can incorporate the body and spirit in their recovery process by utilizing trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness and other modalities for treatment incorporating the whole person.

At Evolve Residential Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based treatment for teens and children ages 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, dual diagnosis, ADHD, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary therapeutic modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Teens and children participate in individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry sessions; daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention); and daily academics. For families from out-of-state, we conduct family therapy remotely. At Evolve, our goal is compassionate, high-quality treatment that will last long after your child or teen leaves our program. We offer daily experiential activities proven to support recovery (e.g. equine therapy, surf, art, drama, music, yoga, etc.) and 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses. Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) are therapy sessions for personal growth and treatment for those with mental disorders. Sessions are available to adults and adolescents and can be in an individual or group therapy setting. The Therapy Team consists of a Mental Health Therapist (certified with EAGALA- Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association), the Equine Specialist (certified with PATH), and at least one horse. Clients interact with the horses in order to promote growth and learning.

Haven Counseling Collective is an adolescent and young adult treatment group in Oregon. Our model of recovery is based on connection to others and a space to be seen and heard. Mental health and addiction problems in teens and young adults have historically led to dangerous levels of isolation. We will provide our clients with pro-social skills, wellness practices, resources, self-care skills, and more. Our clients will develop the tools necessary to navigate being a healthy young person in recovery. We make support easily accessible. The Firefly Institute provides counseling to support individuals, groups and families across the lifespan. We offer a variety of services including treatment options that are highly specialized such as animal assisted therapies, therapeutic art, play therapy and EMDR.
