Therapists are trained in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders and utilize a client centered approach which drives the goals of the clients seen. Individuals work with their therapist to create a client-centered treatment plan and achieve the goals identified by the client. Along with outpatient clinical services, Home of New Vision offers wrap-around services which includes Recovery Peer Coaches and Case Managers which help clients remove barriers and move towards empowerment. Home of New Vision has licensed psychiatrists on staff to address medication needs for clients that are currently in services.

Ann Arbor Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. MAT is a specialized form of outpatient treatment that combines prescription medication and counseling to support people as they work toward long-term recovery. While some methadone clinics offer one type of medication for patients, Ann Arbor CTC provides several options — methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone — depending on each person’s individual needs. At StoneCrest Center, we offer an adolescent inpatient program for youths ages 12-17 who have mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. Because young people are going through developmental changes, we believe that the most effective behavioral healthcare is age-specific. We strive to provide developmentally appropriate treatments and services that meet each young person where they are in their healing journey. During their time in our inpatient program, adolescent patients can participate in therapy sessions led by social workers and activity therapists. In group therapy sessions, youths get the chance to meet their peers and share support and encouragement. In these sessions, they can also receive education on topics such as trauma, coping skills, self-esteem, and healthy boundaries. Additionally, adolescent patients whose treatment plans include medication can receive daily medication management services from psychiatrists and nurses.

Sanford House at Cherry Street is a full continuum addiction treatment center for adult women 18 years and older. Sanford is led by a growing team of medical, clinical, and support personnel providing medication-assisted, evidenced-based treatment to residential, outpatient, and telehealth patients. We offer adult female-gendered individuals an intimate, homelike, and decidedly non-institutional environment to heal. Residents live onsite while they attend group, individual, and family therapy sessions, receive medical and psychiatric check-ups and participate in wellness activities. This option provides 24/7 access to the support of our medical team. Our clinicians offer specialized care and follow a program accentuating each woman’s inherent values and strengths. StoneCrest Center provides premier inpatient programming for adults ages 18-54 and senior adults age 55 and older who are struggling with mental health disorders, developmental concerns, and co-occurring substance use disorders. In our inpatient programming, we offer intensive support for people who have acute symptoms of a number of behavioral health concerns, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia, psychosis, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Those who participate in our inpatient programming can benefit from the combined experience of our expert team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, registered nurses, activity coordinators, and dietitians. This team works with each patient to design an individualized treatment plan that is based on the patient’s background and therapeutic goals. Treatment plans at StoneCrest Center may include individual and family therapy sessions as needed as well as daily group therapy sessions. We also provide recreational therapies, such as pet, art, and music therapies. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is around 11-14 days.
