Our multidisciplinary staff provides evidence-based, patient-centered treatments such as motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. The typical length of stay in our adolescent inpatient program is around five to seven days, though the actual time each person spends in our care depends on their needs.

Southcoast Behavioral Health offers a clinically excellent inpatient program for adults age 18 and older who have mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. We treat mental health concerns like anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. In addition, we provide care for adults who are suffering from co-occurring addictions to substances like alcohol, benzodiazepines, heroin, and prescription painkillers. In our inpatient program, our goal is to help patients who are experiencing mental health crises stabilize so that they can return home or step down to a lower level of care. Patients in our adult inpatient program stay with us on average for five to seven days, though the exact length of stay depends on their progress and needs. Continuum Recovery Services (CRS) at Continuum of Care consists of 4 levels of residential treatment and care for adults ages 18 and up who are challenged with mental health and potentially co-occurring disorders.
