We are the sole comprehensive treatment program for eating disorders in southeastern North Carolina, with both outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services. Because expert level care is important to us, we employ the only Certified Eating Disorders Specialists in the region to address all clinical and subclinical eating and body image issues. In addition, we employ the region's only Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian. Treatment can include specialized assessments; individual, family, and group counseling, medication management, nutritional counseling, meal support, and collaboration with higher levels of care. We also offer a cutting edge aftercare program for Weight Loss Surgery patients with nationally recognized bariatric experts. We have treated thousands of individuals with eating disorders since we were established in 2003 and at any given time, at least 50% of our client population struggles with some form of an eating disorder.
