Providence Outpatient Behavioral Health Services offers comprehensive group treatment for people suffering from a range of acute mental health concerns. We provide Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. Our services include being seen by a psychiatrist for medication assessment and stabilization, dual diagnosis for addiction/dependency issues, older adult groups, DBT, DBT/dual diagnosis and CBT groups.

We provide a full continuum of care at locations around the country, including residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; telehealth; and alumni programming. Located in the heart of the Embarcadero district, Foundations San Francisco offers a comprehensive intensive outpatient program and Partial Hospitalization for addiction and mental health conditions in a convenient urban setting. We provide highly individualized, confidential treatment to help you in your recovery. Our masters-level therapists offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapies alongside mindfulness and holistic practices with a flexible schedule. In addition, we offer 12-Step-optional programs where clinical decisions are driven by your unique needs. Participants attend the program for approximately 25 days or around 5 to 8 weeks. Participants attend the program a minimum of 3 days a week up to 5 days a week depending on the level of support needed. The Day IOP runs Monday through Friday 3 hours a day, 12PM –3PM and the Evening IOP runs Monday through Thursday 5PM – 8PM. OP is now available including 1 group and 1 individualize session per week. Sagepoint Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) is Elk Grove's premier provider of dual diagnosis, evidence-based, and trauma informed services for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Sagepoint IOP's multidisciplinary treatment program is designed to provide integrated and high quality therapeutic interventions for adults 18+ diagnosed with a substance use disorder or addiction. Through comprehensive assessments, education, intervention, and treatment, Sagepoint IOP provides clients with the skills and tools for managing harmful substance use behaviors, as well as depression, anxiety, emotions, social interactions and other aspects to assist them in their recovery process. Sagepoint IOP provides a structured program in a warm and welcoming setting, where clients can continue to live at home and/or attend to work responsibilities while simultaneously focusing on their treatment. Sagepoint IOP offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that includes three hours of treatment, three days per week.

Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment.
