At Evolve Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve Walnut Creek, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry; groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety; and daily academic support. (Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely.) Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, hiking, and meditation) as well as 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.

Sagepoint Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) is Elk Grove's premier provider of dual diagnosis, evidence-based, and trauma informed services for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Sagepoint IOP's multidisciplinary treatment program is designed to provide integrated and high quality therapeutic interventions for adults 18+ diagnosed with a substance use disorder or addiction. Through comprehensive assessments, education, intervention, and treatment, Sagepoint IOP provides clients with the skills and tools for managing harmful substance use behaviors, as well as depression, anxiety, emotions, social interactions and other aspects to assist them in their recovery process. Sagepoint IOP provides a structured program in a warm and welcoming setting, where clients can continue to live at home and/or attend to work responsibilities while simultaneously focusing on their treatment. Sagepoint IOP offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that includes three hours of treatment, three days per week.

Evolve Danville offers outpatient treatment for teens ages 12-17 who struggle with mental health, addiction, and/or behavioral issues. Our licensed, specialized staff utilize evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), individual and family therapy, multifamily groups, parent support groups, psychiatry, daily group sessions and psychoeducation. Many of our adolescents struggle with emotion dysregulation and may display high-risk or self-harming behaviors. DBT is research-proven to help reduce these issues. Through DBT, we teach our patients the skills needed for distress tolerance, improved impulse control, emotion regulation, and effective communication. Golden Gate Recovery is a grass roots organization created by men in long term recovery with a simple mission: to continue strengthening our therapeutic and peer led community toward the goal of long term recovery for each client. Every aspect of our program was developed to ensure a smooth transition out of a 30-day inpatient program into our structured living environment. We collaborate with clinical teams all over the country to ensure a warm hand off and a clinically appropriate continuum of care.

Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services treats teen boys and girls ages 12 – 17 experiencing substance use and mental health conditions. Our campuses are beautiful, home-like settings in Sonoma County, Clovis and Riverside, California, where clients enjoy camaraderie, benefit from intensive integrated therapy, and enjoy recreation and experiential therapy activities. Boys and girls are treated and housed separately to eliminate drama and distraction.
