BasePoint Academy is an Outpatient Program that provides behavioral health and substance use treatment for teen boys and girls ages 11 - 18. At BasePoint we provide 2 levels of care: Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient in a safe space where teens can build trust with our team while finding their purpose, learning healthy boundaries and coping skills, and practicing these skills with their peers, while also addressing academics with our Education Counselor. This unique approach allows teens to build these skills during the day, while being able to return to the comfort of their home in the evening. IOP stands for Intensive Outpatient Program. IOP tends to be a best fit for those who do not need inpatient level of care but when symptoms require greater therapeutic support than what can be achieved in the individual outpatient counseling. IOP is structured psychotherapy in a small group format. Group settings are effective in developing self-awareness, emotional management, and social awareness. In order to determine the best care plan for you, we offer confidential consultation and assessment services to better understand your physical, mental, social and emotional health history.
