Located in Raleigh, NC, Green Hill is an academic and career-oriented program that offers transitional living and intensive outpatient (IOP) services. Green Hill provides structured sober living, academic and college admissions counseling, career counseling, experiential and holistic therapy as well as intensive outpatient (IOP) clinical services to young adults who are dealing with substance use disorder and other co-occurring disorders. Green Hill focuses on helping 18-30 year old clients develop the skills needed to maintain healthy sobriety and lead successful lives. Our clients' clinical work is complemented by weekly meetings with our Academic and Career Team who assist with college admissions, academic advising, and career counseling. Green Hill Recovery's three-phase sober living program works to effect lasting change in our residents. In Phase 1, residents are taught the importance of maintaining a routine and are expected to begin applying the principles of recovery in their daily lives. Residents in Phase 2 earn greater autonomy as they enroll and begin to carry part-time college course loads. Residents in Phase 3 start the process of leading fully autonomous lives in recovery. We believe treating the whole person is imperative to sustained recovery and our clinical programming uses evidenced based practices to promote positive outcomes. Our treatment incorporates several modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Experiential Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy and Adventure Therapy. Groups
Intensive Outpatient Program - IOP
Green Hill Recovery's intensive outpatient program (IOP) treats the whole person for sustained recovery. Our IOP program is designed for emerging adult men and women with a focus on academic and career development. IOP meets three times a week for three hours for 10-12 weeks. The clinical staff is highly trained and experienced in working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients utilizing the IOP also receive an individual session and family session each week. Please call to set up a free IOP consultation.
