Adolescent DBT Residential Treatment in CA
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment proven to help teens struggling with emotion dysregulation, self-harming behavior, suicidal ideation, and other mental health issues. Evolve’s Comprehensive DBT residential treatment center is the first of its kind in California and one of only a handful in the entire country. Many of our teens struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, borderline personality disorder, addiction or other high-acuity issues. We offer individual therapy (at least 3 times a week), family therapy (2 times a week, with out-of-state families participating remotely), DBT Skills Training Groups (4 times a week), and skills-coaching (24/7). Teens learn how to practice Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness within a warm, accepting environment. We have one of the highest staff:patient ratios in the nation, serving only six teens at any given time.
