At Iris Healing Retreat, our clinical & medical team work closely together to create an individualized treatment plan designed to treat the whole person - Mind, Body, and Spirit. We address our clients addiction problem on a deeper level by simultaneously healing underlying mental health issue(s) or past trauma's. Iris Healing Retreat is well known for specializing in caring for clients considered to be 'dual-diagnosis'. We employ Doctorate-level clinicans and Reputable Psychiatrists to address the mental health component, and utilize the latest in available technology to heal any underlying traumas that our clients may have. In fact, Iris utilizes Brainspotting, the latest and greatest technology available for the treatment of trauma. Additionally, each client has accesss to 3x weekly neuro-feedback sessions , between one and two private, face-to-face individual sessions per week, and family therapy sessions, which can be done via video-conference if family is not local. Our clients also participate in daily psycho-educational group sessions that focus on a variety of topics, such as Relapse Prevention, Emotional Process Groups, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and much more.

Our clientele includes those who have experienced developmental or systemic trauma, interpersonal abuse, sexual assault, organizational abuse, and/or those who have experienced a single incident trauma such as a car accident or fire. ITTC works well with those who are generally stable in their lives and are ready for the hard work of working through past hurts. Those who may not have responded well to talk therapy alone can incorporate the body and spirit in their recovery process by utilizing trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness and other modalities for treatment incorporating the whole person.

At Evolve Residential Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based treatment for teens and children ages 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, dual diagnosis, ADHD, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary therapeutic modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Teens and children participate in individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry sessions; daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention); and daily academics. For families from out-of-state, we conduct family therapy remotely. At Evolve, our goal is compassionate, high-quality treatment that will last long after your child or teen leaves our program. We offer daily experiential activities proven to support recovery (e.g. equine therapy, surf, art, drama, music, yoga, etc.) and 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.
