Jennifer Tarzia, IMF, Marriage & Family Therapist Intern in San Diego
I provide an alternative therapeutic practice with a focus on interventions that are specifically designed to support families in crisis whether it be addiction, mental health or disordered eating behaviors. Throughout the years of working amongst other treatment providers and settings, it became clear there was a need for services to aid families in getting their loved one through the doors of treatment and allowing them the time to recover and heal. My process is designed to meet each client and family where their at and coach them through a time that can otherwise feel overwhelming and chaotic.
Many people think of interventions for addiction only but those struggling with chronic mental health issues have similar roadblocks in getting the help they need. The reality is that these services can be fitted to each unique need of an individual and family when using a multimodal intervention standard.
My process includes an assessment and evaluation period followed by a treatment plan and treatment recommendations. These recommendations will include specific treatment programs, from all across the country, that meet your loved ones needs. A treatment plan may include a combination of intervention services, family coaching or case management.
