The Dorm is an affirming, CARF-Accredited young adult mental health treatment community in New York City on a mission to help young people build a life of independence. We serve young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 with immersive day and evening services that include clinical therapies, practical skill-building and community support. We specialize in treating substance use, trauma, anxiety and depressive disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders and supporting with executive function deficits. Personalized treatment plans scale from 3-30+ hours a week following expert assessment. WJCS' Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program meets people where they are in their substance use and helps them become stable in early recovery. This all occurs through outpatient group and individual appointments with our addiction specialists. Addictions to all substances are treated, including marijuana, opioids, alcohol, nicotine, sedatives, cocaine, methamphetamine, hallucinogens, and others. In addition, the program treats related cooccurring mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. The program is ideal for adults who prefer outpatient substance use treatment. It also works well to help people continue the progress they have made after discharge from inpatient or residential programs.
