Nestled in a cove in quiet and idyllic Georgetown, Tennessee, Crestwyn Behavioral Health is a state-of-the-art program for adolescents and adults who are struggling with substance abuse and mental health concerns. A welcoming campus with trees, fields, and seasonal flora and fauna surround our safe and comfortable treatment center. Open courtyards and a large gymnasium provide opportunities for patients to rest, relax, and/or exercise as they wish. Understanding this reality, Crestwyn Behavioral Health embraces the principle of individualized care while eschewing a one-size-fits-all approach. At Crestwyn, treatment begins by bringing patients and their treatment teams together to develop individualized plans that addresses each patient's specific needs, goals, and hopes for treatment. This treatment plan may include a myriad of different interventions, such as individual therapy, groups, psychoeducation, family therapy, family education, medication management, and other interventions as clinically indicated. Treatment at Crestwyn is also separated by age group, with adolescents and adults receiving care on separate units and participating in interventions that are specially designed to meet their specific needs. Beginning treatment at a mental health treatment center can be an intimidating process, but the admissions team at Crestwyn Behavioral Health has done everything in their power to create an admissions process that is thorough and complete while also remaining smooth and manageable. The admissions process begins with a simple phone call or email to the Crestwyn admissions team, though the team is also able to conduct admissions evaluations on a walk-in basis. During the initial evaluation, the admissions team will ask questions about symptoms, living situation, and medical and psychiatric history, while also gathering other information that will be beneficial to the treatment process. All members of the admissions team are trained counselors with experience helping individuals with intake and admissions. Once the initial interview is complete, the admissions team will confer with the appropriate psychiatrist for acceptance and admission to the level of treatment most appropriate for the individual.
