Talk Therapy Psychology Center
Individualized Addiction Treatment in an Outpatient Setting: IOP is one of several levels of care for individuals struggling with addictions. It is more intensive than individual therapy and less intensive than residential rehab. IOP consists of 9 hours of group and two hours of individual therapy per week. Clients are introduced to tools based in CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness. They also have the opportunity to explore the underlying issues that are fueling and sustaining their addiction. The process begins by an intake session followed by the creation of an individualized treatment plan. Upon admission, the client may begin treatment immediately.
