Timberline Knolls offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for women age 18 and older who are struggling with eating disorders, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. Our partial hospitalization program can be an excellent choice for women who want personalized and structured care but don’t need 24-hour support. Women can step down to our PHP from residential or inpatient care, or they can enter the program directly. In our PHP, clients can go home after the treatment day is over or they can stay in one of our on-campus lodges. Those who stay in our supportive housing can benefit from staff services, 24/7 peer support, comfortable living quarters, and transportation to and from our outpatient center. Our multidisciplinary staff includes experts like licensed social workers, therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, art therapists, dietitians, and nutritionists. Those who participate in our PHP can receive support in a safe and inclusive environment.

At Timberline Knolls, we believe that a combination of evidence-based therapies, a therapeutic environment, and supportive education is key to helping girls heal from eating disorders and other behavioral health concerns. We help our residents continue their studies while they receive care at our residential treatment center. TK Academy can help students progress academically while they focus on healing. Our certified teachers instruct core subjects in small classes, allowing them to work closely with each student. Girls who receive care at Timberline Knolls attend TK Academy every weekday, following the traditional school calendar. We coordinate with our residents’ school districts and parents to ensure that they receive the appropriate credit to stay current with their local educational requirements. At TK Academy, we work hard to create a warm and supportive classroom environment that can encourage students to learn while they receive excellent behavioral healthcare.

In addition to social benefits, our alumnae program offers a safe space where you can practice crucial recovery skills, like how to manage stress, cope with triggers, and maintain healthy lifestyle habits. Evolve’s residential treatment center offers compassionate, evidence-based treatment to adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, substance use, and/or behavioral issues. Many of our teens have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, conduct disorder, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Our handpicked treatment team consists of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, on-site nurses, Master’s-level residential counselors and 24-hour support staff. We utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with experiential therapies (e.g. equine-assisted therapy, mindfulness, surfing, music, art, drama, fitness, yoga and more). Teens participate in individual/family therapy at least five times a week, psychiatry sessions once a week, and daily groups on DBT Skills, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention. For out-of-state families, we conduct family therapy sessions via HIPAA-compliant video conference. We also provide daily academic support to help your adolescent stay on track with school.
