About White Deer Run
White Deer Run, a network of 16 locations throughout Pennsylvania, is a comprehensive treatment provider for adults who struggle with mental health conditions including chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders. At our centers, we provide residential rehabilitation, medically monitored detoxification, intensive outpatient program (IOP), traditional outpatient program (OP), gender-specific halfway houses, and partial hospitalization program (PHP). We specifically treat adults who are addicted to alcohol, heroin, cocaine, inhalants, marijuana, prescription drugs, opioids, and meth, as well as those who are facing co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder. At our White Deer Run locations, we employ teams of professionals, including a doctor, a psychiatrist, counselors, therapists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, technicians, and other specialists, to provide the highest quality care to each one of our patients. Here, we help adults struggling with these pressing issues learn how to overcome their challenges successfully. About Our Outpatient Treatment Center
At White Deer Run located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, we supply an intensive outpatient program for individuals who are requiring more intense care than traditional outpatient treatment but less care than residential treatment. Adults who engage in our intensive outpatient program in Allentown will cover topics including education of the disease, recovery support, high risk situations, recovery and mental health, physical recovery, humor and recovery, recovery and the family, relationships and recovery, criminal thinking and recovery, recovery and stress management, and characters defects/value systems and recovery. Patients who engage in the intensive outpatient program will have the option of engaging in the daytime track or the evening track. Those who join the daytime track will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, and 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Those who do the evening track will meet on the same days, however from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. These schedules are subject to change based on needs. Admissions Process at Our Treatment Center
At White Deer Run, we realize how much it takes to finally reach out for help, which is why we do everything in our power to ensure that the process of admission is as streamlined and simple as possible. Those searching for treatment can contact one of our locations directly, or call the National Resource Center 24 hours, seven days a week. To begin the admissions process, prospective patients partake in a pre-screening assessment (depending on the location) and a more thorough, in-person assessment. At the time of these assessments, our team of professionals will gather background information, review that information, and decide whether or not White Deer Run is the appropriate center for that individual's treatment needs. During the admissions process, patients can have their insurance verified. While each program under White Deer Run has varying criteria that must be met for admission to be granted, all centers require that prospective patients must be suffering from a substance use disorder. While we also treat co-occurring disorders, substance use disorder must present as the primary concern.
