Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy integrated with Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Activation, and other data-driven modalities. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a detailed treatment plan that considers the client’s individual history and symptoms. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy, psychiatry, academic support, and daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety). Children and teens also participate in experiential therapies: equine-assisted therapy, music, art, fitness, yoga, and more. Evolve is suitable for children and teens stepping up from partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient programs (such as our nearby PHP/IOP in San Diego), or as a transition down from inpatient hospitalization. Prior to admission, our licensed clinician conducts a detailed phone assessment to ensure our treatment center is clinically appropriate for your child or teen. We only serve up to 6 adolescents at any given time.Throughout treatment, our dedicated discharge coordinator works closely with your child’s therapists on a detailed aftercare plan to ensure a smooth transition back home.
