Who We Help
JCAC offers counseling in office and online. We specialize in play therapy for children, counseling for adolescents & adults, couples therapy, and EMDR trauma counseling. Each of our therapists are highly specialized to offer an excellent counseling experience. We offer weekend and late afternoon appointments. We are an outpatient counseling center meaning we offer weekly counseling services. We do not offer inpatient or emergency services. Our intake line is answered by a counselor ready to listen Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. We offer Play Therapy for children. Our therapists strategically utilize play therapy to help children express their thoughts feelings, learn new coping strategies, and increase self esteem and confidence. We work with parents to help you redirect behaviors at home. In addition, we offer play therapy and ABA therapy for children with disabilities. For Adolescents, we utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Solution Focus tech and specialize in working anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger, grief, personality issues, and interpersonal conflict. We specialize in working with teens who self harm, have suicidal thoughts, and are struggling to thrive. In addition, we can help parents explore when it is time to step in, and when it is time to give space. Couples Counseling & Adult Counseling
We offer Couples Counseling utilizing Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy by extensively trained and specialized counselors. Our therapy models focuses on reconnecting couples by assisting them to be open, attuned, and responsive to each other allowing them to reestablish their emotional connection. In addition, we work with adults who have experienced a trauma with EMDR, going through a divorce, loss of a loved one, who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, social anxiety, eating disorders, disordered eating, among others. We are excited to offer counseling for seniors, assisting them to finding meaning, manage loss, and find purpose in the later years.
