Adult PHP
At Cross Creek Hospital in Austin, Texas, we provide a wide array of programs for adults who are struggling with mental health disorders and substance use concerns. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is designed for adults age 18 and older who are seeking structured treatment but don’t require round-the-clock inpatient care. In our PHP, adults can receive comprehensive behavioral health support on a part-time basis and are able to return home at the end of each day. This flexibility allows individuals to make progress toward their treatment goals while fulfilling their responsibilities at work, school, and home. Patients in our PHP attend group therapy sessions that are led by our qualified therapists and cover topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and tips for supporting healthy sleep. Patients can also engage in individual and family counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Gestalt therapy and receive medication management services and basic medical care. Adults in our PHP meet five days a week for four hours each day, for six to 10 weeks. Adolescent & Adult IOPs
At Cross Creek Hospital, we are pleased to offer intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) for adults and adolescents. Our IOP for adults serves individuals age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health disorders and co-occurring substance use concerns. Our IOP for adolescents serves young people ages 12-17 who have a primary diagnosis of a mental health condition and co-occurring addiction concerns. Our IOPs are designed to provide structured behavioral health treatment for adults and adolescents who require more support than traditional outpatient services can offer. Group therapy is the main form of treatment in our IOPs, and master’s-level clinicians guide discussions on topics such as mental health education, relapse prevention, and healthy coping skills. We also facilitate monthly off-campus trips to encourage patients to practice stress tolerance and foster creative self-expression. In our IOPs, patients typically take part in programming three days per week for three hours a day, for four to eight weeks.
