Families On The Line is an outpatient, DBT-adherent practice. Our extensively trained clinicians are dedicated to providing a range of evidence-based treatments to address emotional, behavioral, relational, and lifestyle concerns. Particular areas of expertise include the treatment of severe emotional dysregulation or borderline personality disorder (BPD) and its associated co-morbidities. We know and fully understand how painful this struggle is for patients as well as most often for their families, and we are passionate about helping relieve this suffering.

The Progressive Institute is a dual-licensed psychiatric and addiction outpatient treatment facility located at 2 Trap Falls Road in Shelton, CT . We offer a variety of treatment options to accommodate patients with primary mental health and/or primary substance abuse diagnoses. We have a team of licensed professionals, experienced in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, who focus on the creation of an individualized treatment pathway for each patient. Our highest level of treatment is intensive outpatient (IOP). Our daytime IOP runs 9am-noon, Tues/Wed/Thurs and our evening IOP runs 5:30pm-8:30pm, Tues/Wed/Thurs. We offer multiple weekly outpatient groups (OP) including substance abuse relapse prevention, mental health wellness, chronic pain, and faith-based relapse prevention. Individual and Family Therapy is offered and scheduled individually with each patient. Psychiatric Care and Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT), which includes Vivitrol® and Suboxone®, is scheduled individually with each patient.

Continuum Recovery Services (CRS) at Continuum of Care consists of 4 levels of residential treatment and care for adults ages 18 and up who are challenged with mental health and potentially co-occurring disorders. Clients can access treatment to any of these levels of care and move to a higher or a lower level of care as their needs change. Continuum offers short-term and long-term residential treatment in an intimate personalized setting. Clients live in a home-like setting that provides low stimulation compared to traditional institutional settings. Continuum believes each path to mental health recovery is a unique and extraordinary journey. We are an inclusive community, dedicated to working with those searching for their path to recovery. We provide a safe, nurturing home environment designed to assist you in regaining connections, meaning, and hope, and a new life of recovery. Project Courage was built on the premise that meaningful change needs to happen not only within clients, but also within the field of mental health and substance use disorder treatment. We believe that barriers in the form of standards, customs, and procedures have presented themselves to our clients that have had the unfortunate effect of pushing them away. Project Courage holds that it is not just our clients that need to fall under the microscope of self-examination.

Evolve Treatment Centers supports adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, addiction, and/or behavioral issues. Evolve Vanalden is a Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Residential Treatment Center: the first of its kind in California and one of only a handful in the country. DBT is an evidence-based treatment that has been proven to help reduce emotion dysregulation, self-harming behavior, and/or suicidal ideation. We treat teens diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, or other issues. Evolve's robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy (at least five scheduled 1-hour sessions a week), DBT Skills Training Groups (4 times a week), and skills coaching (24/7). Teens learn and practice the four core skills of DBT: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. At Evolve, we don't just learn DBT, we live it. With the help of our specialized staff, teens practice and apply their DBT skills at all opportunities throughout the day.

BHcare offers comprehensive substance abuse services for individuals struggling with alcohol and/or drug addiction. Our comprehensive Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program is offered at our licensed and accredited outpatient clinics in Branford and Ansonia, Connecticut. Our MAT program includes prescribed medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-person” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.

Outpatient detoxification from alcohol or drugs allows clients to continue fulfilling their professional, educational, and family responsibilities while detoxing from the comfort of their own home. Those interested in outpatient detox are thoroughly assessed by our medical team that specializes in addiction treatment. After undergoing a thorough assessment, clients receive recommendations based upon their unique circumstances and ability to function outside of a medically monitored treatment setting. Outpatient detox is not appropriate for everyone and clients will be thoroughly assessed.
