Partial Hospitalization Program
Sierra Tucson provides premier outpatient services for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with substance use disorders and mental health concerns. Our outpatient program gives clients the chance to begin or continue their healing process while maintaining their daily routines. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides intensive care that is less restrictive than inpatient hospitalization. PHP participants can receive treatment four days per week for around seven hours daily and go home at night. Our partial hospitalization program offers various medical services and therapies, including group, individual and family counseling. A multidisciplinary team of experienced and licensed counselors, therapists, social workers, nurses and physicians provides these treatments. Those who participate in our PHP typically complete at least two weeks of programming before moving to our intensive outpatient program. At Sierra Tucson, we aim to support adults by helping them develop the necessary skills to maintain lifelong wellness. Intensive Outpatient Program
Adults who need continued support beyond what our partial hospitalization program provides may be excellent candidates for Sierra Tucson’s intensive outpatient program (IOP). This program offers treatment for people who are suffering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. Clients can step down to the IOP from the PHP, or they can enter directly without completing a higher level of care. Our IOP is a flexible program that allows clients to maintain their daily routines when programming is not in session. Clients typically spend a minimum of four weeks in our IOP. During this time, they can meet with their primary therapist once per week and with a psychiatrist on an as-needed basis. In addition to individual therapy, clients can take part in family counseling and group therapy. During these sessions, our counselors strive to help clients explore the emotional and psychological aspects of addiction and mental health concerns. We also provide medication-assisted treatment, medical care and medication management services depending on the client’s treatment plan. Our Treatment Center
